Spring has finally sprung in the GTA. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and the leaves are green again! Although we are all quite pleased with the blossoming buds, there is one “weed” many corporations are looking to avoid… you guessed it, marijuana.
As we reported in our prior blog posts HERE and HERE, the Cannabis Act, which legalizes the use and cultivation of cannabis in dwelling units, is coming into effect as early as July 1, 2018. What does this mean for your corporation? How can your corporation restrict or otherwise control the use and/or cultivation of cannabis? Is your corporation ready?
