Urban Toronto is conducting a poll to select Toronto’s favourite buildings completed in 2016, including office and condominium buildings. (Last year’s poll only included residential buildings) There are three categories of buildings determined by building height: tall, “tallish” and “well grounded”, with most of the buildings in each category being condominiums. The buildings in the tall category range from 34 to 44 storeys. The “tallish” category includes buildings ranging from 15 to 32 storeys. The buildings in the “well-grounded” category range from 7 to 13 storeys.
While there are numerous industry and professionally-affiliated awards, this vote is akin to the “people’s choice” award in the entertainment industry.
To vote, just click on the artist-rendition pictures of the buildings in each category that you like best – but you have to vote by midnight December 20, 2016. Winners will be announced on December 23, 2016.
